Subject: Spanish
I’ve been teaching Spanish for more than 8 years in Bristol in public and private institutions and have taught all levels from GCSE and A-level, up to advanced and conversational classes.
I use modern communicative methods when I teach which helps immerse students in the language. We always have fun and I make sure learners go home having learnt something new.
Back in 2005 in Colombia, where I am from, I taught English as a foreign language to children and did several EFL Teacher Trainings with the British Council.
In the past, I studied different languages for many years, which gave me the opportunity as a teacher to know how learners could feel in class, their expectations, likes and dislikes.
I also have a qualification as a Teacher of Spanish as a foreign language ELE with The Hemingway Institute. Bilbao, Spain.
