All the staff here at Adult Learning and Stoke Lodge would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and send all our best wishes for 2019.

We will be closing the office at Stoke Lodge on Friday 21 December and reopening on Wednesday 2nd January. Don’t forget if you are still looking for a Christmas present we have Adult Learning gift vouchers available for your chosen amount and we can issue you a voucher via email so you don’t even need to leave the house and brave the Christmas shopping crowds!

Free Maths Qualification in January

In a bit of a change for Stoke Lodge we have teamed up with sister service Community Learning to offer a free maths qualification.  This course is an opportunity to refresh your maths skills and challenge yourself to take a functional skills Maths qualification.

The course is free and runs for 10 weeks starting on Friday 11th January 12.30pm to 2.30pm.  The tutor is Stephanie Weller who some of you may know, as she is also a German tutor here at Stoke Lodge.  The course is open to anyone who doesn’t have a GCSE grade C or above in maths.

There are qualifications at several levels up to GCSE equivalent and the tutor will work with you to choose the right level for you.  So if you would like to get an up to date national qualification.  This is the course for you.

Stoke Lodge Venue Hire

We continue to be available to hire for events and parties in the New Year.
You can find out more about or rooms and facilities on the website.  Our lovely kitchen is perfect for catering arrangements and there will be a dedicated staff member available to support you on the day.
