Jason Loh
Subject – Japanese Garden Design
I was born in Singapore and lived in South-East Asia for 21 years.
Following the 2009 financial crisis, I left a decade-long career as a property lawyer and retrained at Oxford in Landscape & Garden Design. After winning an RHS silver medal at BBC Gardener’s World Show Garden competition for ‘The Journey’ (www.jasonloh.co.uk), I wanted my work to make a real difference.
My personal motto is to create things that bring life to people… especially poignant in difficult times. I have designed and built gardens for communities, rehabilitation centres, hospices and private clients.
I would love to introduce you to the mystique and understated elegance of Japanese Gardens. Come with an open mind and you will find candour, clarity, culture… and even some comedy!
