In the Loop – 1 Sep 2022
“White Rabbits” I’m not a particularly superstitious person but I do rather like the idea of keeping some superstitions and traditions alive. All part of the rich tapestry of life! For those of you who are somewhat confused, saying “White Rabbits” usually aloud, on the first of the month is generally meant to bring good luck!
As we move into September the start of term is growing closer and we are busy here taking those final course enrolments.
If you haven’t enrolled with us yet for the autumn term please do get in touch, although some courses are full or close to full, we do have spaces on lots of exciting classes in lots of different subjects.
You can book online as always but we are also here in the office and able to take bookings over the phone so just give us a call on 0117 9038844, we are here to help.

Cost of Living
We are seeing lots on the news at the moment about spiralling costs and people are understandably concerned about the impact of this particularly the increasing costs of energy bills.
If you or someone you know needs help with cost of living the Citizens Advice bureaux have lots of information and support links on their website. www.citizensadvice.org.uk
You can also find information and support links on the Bristol City Council website here
Here at Adult Learning we have done everything we can to keep the course costs down for learners and not increased our base line course costs this year. I know there will be some people who will have to make difficult decisions about where to spend their budget and although we very much hope you will be in a position to continue to learn with us, we do also understand that times are tough.
We are all really looking forward to seeing you again in the next few months.
Kindest regards
Jenny
