Valentine’s Day
Next Tuesday is Valentine’s Day, now I am not really one for the chocolate box version of this particular celebration, but I am a big old softy at heart, and I do think it is always a good idea to celebrate love, those we love, love for ourselves and generally the benefits of putting a bit more kindness and love out there in the world.
With that in mind I thought I’d share a few love themed quotes I rather like…
“Love many things, for therein lies the true strength, and whosoever loves much performs much, and can accomplish much, and what is done in love is done well.” – Vincent van Gogh
“I have decided to stick to love; hate is too great a burden to bear.” – Martin Luther King, Jr.
“You’re always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company.” — Diane Von Furstenberg
“When our community is in a state of peace, it can share that peace with neighbouring communities, and so on. When we feel love and kindness towards others, it not only makes others feel loved and cared for, but it helps us also to develop inner happiness and peace.” – Dalai Lama
I hope many of you will continue to learn with us in the spring and summer term and in the meantime, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day I wish you kindness and love
Kindest regards
Jenny
