Subject: Italian Tutor

I am an Italian native from Sicily, but grew up between Turin and Milan, so I know very well the culture of very different parts of Italy. I worked for two years in Rome as a tourist guide. After that I came back to Sicily where, in Siracuse, I ran my own bookshop and I dedicated 10 years as a volunteer to teach Italian to immigrants.

My first degree is in history and philosophy, my second degree is in Teaching Italian language and culture to foreigners. My teaching experience in teaching adults is 20 years; not only different language levels, but also history, cinema, art and culture.

I am currently writing my first book ‘Italian for Beginners’. My teaching is based on a communicative approach, and I love creating exercises myself based on the needs of my students. I love travelling, reading and swimming.
